ZoomText Magnifier/Reader is a comprehensive screen magnification and reading solution designed to make Windows computers more accessible for people with low vision.
Combining all the visual enhancement features of ZoomText Magnifier with integrated speech and reading tools, Magnifier/Reader gives users greater flexibility over how they access information. Content can be enlarged and visually enhanced while also being read aloud, allowing users to combine visual and auditory access according to their individual needs.
Powerful magnification tools allow users to enlarge on-screen content by up to 60x, with a choice of zoom window options to suit different tasks and preferences. Text and graphics smoothing helps maintain clarity when content is enlarged, while customisable colour, contrast, mouse pointer, text cursor and focus enhancements can make important information easier to locate and follow.
Alongside these visual tools, ZoomText Magnifier/Reader provides speech support for documents, webpages, emails and other on-screen content. AppReader enables users to listen to text from within applications, while Reading Zones can be used to quickly access and hear selected areas of frequently used applications.
Typing and mouse echo provide additional auditory feedback. Users can choose to hear characters or words as they type and have text beneath the mouse pointer spoken aloud, providing useful reinforcement when navigating and working with information.
