We can provide a range of Assistive Technology solutions to support you within the workplace. This would include a range of hardware and software that can aid you in a more productive working.

iDiversity Consulting can provide the specialist training included in your grant. We offer one-to-one and group sessions on a wide range of assistive technologies. We can also provide tailored disability awareness training for your organisation.

Our support doesn’t end once your training is complete. We can help you review how your equipment and strategies are working in practice, and provide follow-up sessions if your job role changes or your needs evolve. If you need to renew or update your Access to Work grant, we can guide you through that process too.

At iDiversity Consulting, our process is designed to make Access to Work simple and supportive. Our approach is person-centred, collaborative, and focused on making this process as simple as possible. See below our step by step process on how we can support you with your Access to work award.

To apply for Access to Work, visit the UK government website at www.gov.uk/access-to-work and complete the online application form. You’ll need to provide some personal details, such as your National Insurance number, along with information about your job, employer, and the type of support you think would help you at work. If you prefer, you can also apply by phone using the contact details provided on the same page.

Once your application is submitted, someone from Access to Work may contact you to discuss your role and the challenges you face. They might arrange a short assessment to help identify the most suitable support or equipment for you. After the assessment, you’ll receive a confirmation letter outlining what funding has been approved and how it will be managed. In most cases, either you, your employer, or a supplier will arrange the support, and the costs can then be reimbursed through the Access to Work scheme.
