Sensory App House – Sensory Scribe & Sensory Readable
Dave Stevens will be demonstrating the Sensory Readable Suite, with a focus on the newly released version 3 for Windows and Mac. Attendees can expect a look at the new OCR capability, alongside the features that make Sensory Readable a strong recommendation for assessors: it’s DSA and ATW approved, JCQ-compliant for exam access, works fully offline, and v3 is a free upgrade for existing users. Dave will also introduce Sensory Scribe, a simple, secure transcription and assistive note-taking tool designed for live events like lectures, seminars, meetings, and tutorials. It uses Microsoft’s Live Captions accessibility feature to provide instant, offline transcription with no internet connection required. Sensory Scribe is approved for funding under the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).
