ATEC Conference – 2021

Last week on the 21st October 2021 iDiversity Consulting exhibited at the ATEC conference at the Dolphin hotel in Coventry.
The ATEC conference provided a platform for Assistive Technology companies to showcase their products and services to Assessors as well as giving them a chance to present seminars on specific disability topics.
This was a great opportunity for iDiversity to exhibit in person to raise brand awareness and promote the company message while showcasing the wide range of support and services.
Iansyst Ltd also attended to show some of the latest and greatest Assistive Technology and talk about Iansyst’s new ergonomic assessment service. A service in which Iansyst can assess the needs of the individual and provide them with a detailed report and a tailored list of ergonomic products.
At the ATEC conference Iansyst teamed up with OrCam to co-run a seminar focusing on specialist disabled technology and services. Iansyst covered Ergonomic assessments and OrCam demonstrated some of their Latest Products.
At the ATEC conference there was a number of keynote speeches throughout the day. The first was DfE: AT and the digital strategy for education delivered by Anastasia Skamarauskas, Engagement Lead for Digital strategy, Department for Education. This was followed later in the day by a Keynote presentation on a DSA update: ‘How the past and present can inform the future of the DSA’ this was presented by Anthony Ruck ATEC conference director. The conference was ended on an Q&A panel on ‘The Language of Disability’ and a raffle for the delegates.
We think that the ATEC Conference was a massive success and gave the opportunity for people to meet in-person again. We already cannot wait to exhibit at future Events!

Upcoming events from iDiversity Consulting
Following on from the ATEC conference iDiversity will be hosting 2 Assistive Technology events in November. One event is on the 4th November 2021 in Edinburgh at Murrayfield Stadium. The second event we are heading across the seas to Northern Ireland, this event is being held on the 25th November 2021 at the Clayton Hotel in Belfast.
